It was a great day. My pal Willie came into DC on 10/26/01. We had known each other for a couple years at that point, but it felt like a lifetime to me. Willie makes it so easy for me to be who I am-- when I am with him. And so, we found ourselves in an art supply store picking up a few pens and sketch books and we had dinner and for the first time in 20 years, I drew something--Willie!
