From Cricket Lee

To Willie:
You are one of the most wonderful people that I know. You were my first supporter and investor in my company, and saw the vision clearly even back then. I think that I would not be here without you getting me kicked off at much expense, and passion on your part.

Seven years ago, I had an idea to create a fit/apparel system for Baby Boomer women. Never one to “start small” I was determined to take the concept and product to Target. You believed in me and in the concept, so much so that you invested your best and brightest creative staff to work on a Madison Avenue-worthy branding campaign, and then you accompanied me to the presentation at Target’s corporate headquarters in Minneapolis. All this AFTER you had invested the same amount of effort for another concept "Woman, A Celebration", which we were never able to get off the ground.

These concept boards, which capture the elegance and foxiness and relevance of maturing women, are a testament to your genius at creating a powerful and succinct message. Even though my company has undergone many changes, these creative underpinnings continue to color the message and product as they manifest themselves today.

Happy Birthday, Willie! I love you so much!!!!
Cricket
